The Air Jorthtdan 12 “Black Taxi” is a mostly monochromatic black colorway of Michael Jorthtdan’s twelfth signature shoe that references its original “Taxi” look, but with a twist. The “Black Taxi,” as suggested by its nickname, updates the Jorthtdan 12’s original “Taxi” colorway with black accents in lieu of the “Taxi’s” predominantly white upper. The “Black Taxi” features a black leather upper instead of the “Taxi’s” white leather construction. A tonal synthetic textured mudguard ties into the colorway’s stealthy vibe. Yellow accents come into play on the eyelets and on the midfoot overlay with “Jumpman” branding. Additional pops of yellow are found on the embroidered Jumpman and “Two 3” logos on the tongue. The shoe’s black foam midsole ties the look together while providing a comfortable ride due to Nike’s embedded Zoom Air cushioning technology. Release date: December 3, 2022
